Challenge

Integrate new dental CAD/CAM technology with their materials business to provide more value to their customers, while growing revenues and profits.

Solution

Worked with the owner and GM to establish detailed system requirements and workflows. Identified potential software development partners, developed a selection criteria and process to choose the finalist. Provided ongoing Program and Product Management support throughout the project, including collaboration with European development partners. The new system has been implemented and successfully deployed, on time and on budget. The system was defined and in production in less than 6 months from beginning to end, reducing the original time-to-market estimates by more than 50%, thereby saving money, speeding time-to-revenue, and gaining competitive market share with an estimated value of over $2M.
